Red Yeast Rice (Semen Monascus Purpureus)
• Red yeast rice is derived from fermentation of rice with red yeast
(Monascus purpureus).
• RYR contains monacolin K is chemically identical to the active ingredient in
the cholesterol lowering drug lovastatin, and is currently the most effective
naturally occurring statin. It lowers blood cholesterol level by reducing the
production of cholesterol by the liver.
• The statins (3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase
inhibitors) are the first line lipid-lowering therapy due to their well-known
efficacy for reducing cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
• Red Yeast Rice is very effective in reducing plasma levels of Total Cholesterol
and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL).
• In addition, it contains other blood lipid lowering effects, such as large
quantities of unsaturated fatty acid, isoflavones and sterols.

Natto Fermented Powder (Nattokinase)
• Natto, a traditional fermented soybean product, has been consumed as
traditional food in Japan for thousands of years.
• Nattokinase, an enzyme was discovered in Natto. It is produced during the
fermentation process of soybeans by Bacillus subtilis to produce Natto.
• Nattokinase is a potent blood-clot dissolving protein which help to protect
against conditions caused by blood clots such as stroke, heart attack,
cardiovascular disease and others.

纳豆激酶溶栓机制:
从医学的角度解析,纳豆激酶溶栓机理是:纳豆激酶通过刺激血管内皮细胞
产生组织型纤溶酶原激活剂(t-PA),t-PA将纤溶酶原激活为纤溶酶,溶解纤
维蛋白,直接溶解血栓;同时将人体内的尿激酶原激活为尿激酶,尿激酶与
t-PA一同激活纤溶酶原,达到溶解血栓。
