Good day ladies and gentlemen it is a great honor for me to discuss the current
issue in our country which is the Philippine Poverty.

When we heard the word "poverty" the first thing that comes in our mind is
hunger, homeless,and poor. Poverty is a state or condition in which a person or
community lacks the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of
living. Poverty means that the income level from employment is so low that basic
human needs can't be met.Poverty stricken people and families might go without
proper housing,clean water, healthy food, and medical attention.

Honestly, poverty is a very big issue especially in the Philippines. It is one of the
big problems our government facing right now.The poverty level in the phillipines
has only gotten worse and there are many reasons for this. The main one being
the rapid growth of the population. Since the growth of the population has
quickly increased this has become major problem because there is already
insufficient resources to support the population.This wil also leave less resources
to improve their economy as well as reduce job opportunities and causes more
and more to fall bellow the poverty line

As a youth in today's generation, we should take our responsibility to help our

country reducing the poverty rate. Be one with the people having the same vision
to end the poverty in our country. Our contribution as a youth will emphasized
that we can change our country, we can provide solution to end this kind of
situation. We are the hope,we are the future,just be an inspiration and follow
your passion.
