Edward Kremer - OMM Stop and Jot
Edward Kremer - OMM Stop and Jot
Stop-and-Jot
Directions: as we read the novel in class (and as you read it at home), you will be prompted to “stop and jot.”
During this time, make any annotations (summary, analysis, question) that will help you deepen your
understanding of the text. The more time and effort you invest into filling out this document, the easier it will be
to complete any end-of-unit activities/assessments! **Note: your annotations do NOT have to be written in full
sentences. YOU NEED AT LEAST *5 NOTES (rows) PER CHAPTER (*unless told otherwise by the
teacher).
