Eligibility: All Wipro Employees/dependents who are covered under the Long Term Plan –
Singapore, Australia, Poland and Switzerland plan.
1. All the claims will be payable as per the Policy Terms & conditions.
3. Proportionate deduction would not apply, however room rent difference would be
deducted in case of higher than defined category room is opted.
4. All clauses of deductibles / copay under respective policy would be applicable As-Is.
5. To & fro Travel cost is payable only after the member travels back from India (home
country) to respective country (assignment) and not before the same.
7. The travel cost (Air fare) will only be paid of the affected member in case of Maternity
Claim while returning back to Country of assignment.
8. Member has to return to the assignment country within a reasonable period post
discharge from hospitalization and return to “Fit to Fly” condition. Typically within 6
Months from date of discharge or more only on pre-approval.
10. Employee needs to submit the claim for reimbursement of Travel Cost within 30 days
after reaching the country of assignment
11. ManipalCigna will cover all the OPD/IPD expenses for the said ailment as per the
Policy Terms and Conditions.
12. For all reimbursement claims, physical documents should be couriered to Mayfair
claims team, Bangalore within 30 days of patient discharge from the hospital.
13. Baby is covered from day 1, for which member needs to update FTR and write to
travel.insurance@wipro.com to confirm the coverage activation.
14. Only active policy holder(s) can enroll / avail this benefit. If member / dependent has
already raised an RTR (return travel to India) / planned the travel / booked the tickets), then
these benefits shall not be triggered.
