Praying The Will of God In Your Own Life

The will of God is govern by prayer.

God can show you his will but will not permit its operation until you pray.

We have the

A. Secret will...... Deut 29:29 "the secret things belongs to the Lord our God.but those things which are
revealed belongs to us and our children forever." A man must tarry and inquire.and journey into the
secrets of his destiny. U must find allignment with the agenda and plans of God.

B. The revealed Will... Is his written word. To prosper us,bless us, restore us, Heal us, that none should
perish.

Praying the agenda of God brings the promises into an experience in our life.

LUKE:11:1-4 (NKJV)
1 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples
said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your
kingdom come. Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

[Lesson: Why would God withhold good things from you? He will not and does not. Why would God
deny you any good thing? He will not and does not]

“YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE”

WHAT IS GOD’S KINGDOM?

KINGDOM ; The spiritual reign or authority of God.

WHAT IS GOD’S WILL?

1 John 5:14-15 NKJV "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according
to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we have asked of Him."

God’s Will = God’s Agenda = God’s Way = God’s Plan, God’s Promises= God’s Word

We have to pray because God’s will is not automatic.

• We have to pray for the knowledge of God’s will.

Colossians 1:9 NKJV "For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray
for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding"
• We have to pray for the will of God to be done.
LUKE 11:2 "So He said to them, “When you pray, say: ... Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven."

PRAYER FOR GOD’S KINGDOM AND WILL?

1. For God’s kingdom and will in you.

2. For God’s kingdom and will in your family.

3. For God’s kingdom and will in your church.

4. For God’s kingdom and will in your communities, state, nation, world.

The next step is to trust God, and to trust the Will of God.
Luke 22:41-44 NKJV
41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42
saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be
done.” 43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. 44 And being in agony, He
prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Conclusion:
there needs to be a recognition when we do not pray for the will of God, we leave ourselves vulnerable
to the attack of the enemy.
Satan interprets our fear of the will of God, as a decision to remain under his domain.
But you can embrace the Will of God,

and know that God loves you,

that He knows what is best for you,

that He will look out for you,

that He will not harm you, that He wants to advance you, and that He wants to bless you.
