D.
Note 1:
The directory number of a multiline set corresponds to the call number of its main line.

The directory name and first name can each have a maximum of 20 characters.
These parameters are displayed on the digital and Reflexes sets with displays and on attendant
terminals.
Note 2:
These parameters can be used for the Call by name feature (see Phone book Name and First Name (Call by
name).
UTF-8 Directory Name and Directory First Name
The UTF-8 directory name and first name are used to fill the speed dial display name on
Alcatel-Lucent 8&9 series sets (truncated to 30 characters). They can be filled with non Latin
characters (with 4760/4760i) and allow to extend the display name length.

This attribute is only accessible during modification. It indicates the number of the node to which
the user set has been moved. The set keeps all its characteristics apart from its physical address.
Shelf/Board/Equipment Address
The geographic position contains the following 3 attributes:
• Shelf number (from 0 to 6)
• Position of the corresponding interface in the shelf (from 0 to 27)
• Position of the set in the interface (0 to 31 for the 40XX Reflexes sets, 0 to 23 for the analog
sets, 0 to 7 for the S0 sets, and 0 to 127 (SU shelf) for the 43XX sets)
Set Type
This mandatory entry is used to define the type of set connected from the list below:
4
As of R4.1
5
As of R6.0

A difference must be made between the direct speed dialing numbers and the speed dialing
numbers by section.
Direct speed dialing numbers
The user enters a prefix to call the correspondant's number.
All direct speed dialing numbers are stored in the same section, which is global with respect to the
network. The content is distributed automatically to all the nodes in this network.
This section cannot overlap the “speed dialing numbers by section” sections.
Example 1:
Section with first index 100 and length 300
Example 3:
Section prefix 1 = 11
Section prefix 2 = 12
Section prefix 3 = 13
Users with access to section number:
• 1 must dial 1150 to obtain the abbreviated number with index 50
• 2 must dial 12104 to obtain the abbreviated number with index 199
• 3 must dial 139 to obtain the abbreviated number with index 104
If the system has an ISDN access as well as the Automatic Attendant feature, all the speed
dialing numbers by section are used to identify correspondents in ISDN i/c, the i/c ISDN numbers
being translated into a directory name. If a user receives a call from a correspondent whose
number is declared in speed dialing will see the directory name of the correspondent on the set's
display panel.
