• Topic: Fashion. Clothes. School Outfit.
• Overview:
Before: choose an online shop, search for clothes to make a school
outfit, make a collage and label the items, add the collage to the
online board Padlet
During: present one’s collage (outfit), discuss whether they are
in/appropriate for school, un/comfortable; define an average style of
clothing at your class
After:
• Aims:
By the end of the lesson our students will:
- revise, apply and practice topical vocabulary
- have developed their speaking skills by presenting their school
outfits
- improve their listening and reading skills
- improve grammar skills: degrees of adjectives, comparative
structures(as…..as, not so ….. as), I’d like to….
• Digital literacy: information, production, communication
• Autonomy: pre-lesson tasks will encourage the students to
search for clothes they like, analyze their suitability for school,
experience a formation of a shopping cart
live session will encourage Sts to comment on smb’s choice in a
polite manner, express one’s point of view
• Time: 45 min

searching engines
online shops (whatever you like, e.g. ZARA, Reserved,HM)

• Pre-lesson task:
- choose an online shop you like
- search for clothes to make a school outfit
- make a collage (look at the example) and label the items
- add your collage to the online board Padlet
- be ready to present your outfit with 4 - 5 sentences
• Procedure:
Warming-up: Would you like to wear a school uniform? Why? Why
not? Who spends more time choosing outfits for school, boys or
girls?
Vocabulary: children get a list of topic words, read them and name
the style of clothing
Present the collages of outfits you have created at home(pupils
show their pictures on the Padlet board and describe in 4 - 5
sentences, explain their choice).
After you have listened and seen your classmate’s presentation -
rate it with stars.

Group work: 1st. give 4 or more reasons for formal style at school
2d. give 4 or more reasons for informal(casual) style at
school
Sum up: reflection time

2. What was difficult for you?
3. What did you like?
• Post lesson task:
- look your wardrobe through: what style are your clothes?
- read the article about Fast Fashion (link)
- are your clothes mainly fast fashion or slow fashion?(prove it)
