With the results that was presented ,the recommendations that made since the study aimed to

know the Viability of the Shakehead Fish (Channa Striatus) as a Bottled Fish.This study came up

with a survey that the selected respondents response on the questionnaires.

Based on the results, the findings in Palatability Rate Table 1.1 in Taste; Sweetness-

Satistactory has a highest percentage which is 50% , Saltiness- Satisfactory has also the highest

percentage of 47%, Fishy- Satisfactory has a percentage of 57%. For Table 1.2 in Aroma ;

Fragrance has a Satisfactory of 47%, Sweet Smell has a Satisfactory of 50%, Fishy has a

Satisfactory of 60%.On the Table 1.3 in Color; Paleness has a Satisfactory of 60%, Dullness has

a Satisfactory of 60%, Vibrancy/ Attractiveness has a Satisfactory of 57%. In Table 1.4 in

Roughness- Satisfactoryhas a percentage of 48%, Smoothness-Satisfactory of 53%, Stiffness-

Satisfactory of 70%.

In Acceptability Rate Table 2.1 in Taste; Sweetness-Satisfactory has the highest

percentage of 63%, Saltiness-Satisfactory has the highest percentage of 60%, Fishy- Satisfactory

has the highest percentage of 50%. In Table 2.2 in Aroma; Fragrance has a Very Satisfactory has

the highest percentage of 50%, Sweet Smell- Very satisfactory has the highest percentage of

53%, Fishy- Very Satisfactory has the highest percentage of 50%. For Table 2.3 in Color;

Paleness-Very Satisfactory has the highest percentage of 33%, Dullness- Very Satisfactory has

the highest percentage of 50%, Vibrancy/Attractiveness-Very Satisfactory has the percentage

52%. Table 2.4 in Texture; Roughness- Satisfactory has the percentage of 47%, Smoothness-

Satisfactory has the Percentage of 53%, Stiffness-Satisfactory has the percentage of 40%.

With the result that was presented, researchers recommend the Snakehead Fish as a Bottled

Fish to the following consumers and to people;


Food Administrators, Students, Parents, Teachers, and to the Future Researchers. The

researchers recommend this Snakehead fish (Channa Striatus) as a Bottled Fish because the

procedure is easy and the ingredients are easy to look for and it was being tested.
