Class VIII Maths project Session 2023-24

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The project file should be covered with white chart paper and name, class, sec, roll
number, UID No must be neatly typed and stuck with the school logo on the cover.No
decorations should be done on the cover. This is to be further covered by a
transparent cellophane paper neatly.

2. The file MUST NOT be a channel file.

3. The writing ink should be BLACK only (including the subtitles). No glitter pens or
colour pens or blue ink to be used.

4. Every picture/diagram must have four side border along with a caption.

5. All pages should be properly numbered.

6. The project work must be neat and clean and the layout of the project must be
strictly followed.

7. Page limit: 15

Layout of the project to be followed:

➢ Acknowledgement
➢ Index
➢ Introduction
➢ Content (Refer to the points to be covered)
➢ Conclusion
➢ Bibliography (mention at least two websites and two textbooks)
TOPIC: EXPONENTS AND POWERS

POINTS TO COVER:

• Base and power [Definition]

• Related Examples.
• Negative power.
• Relation between negative and positive power.
• Laws Of Exponents.
• Minimum two example are required for each laws.
• At least one solved problem related to Exponents and powers.

** Additional points relevant to the topic can be included
