Final Year Project

Production of 12000 MT/year Titanium Dioxide from Rutile ore. Economically Efficient chloride process
that produces the Titanium Dioxide. It was not mass manufactured until the early 20th century and from
so in its demand is continuously increasing because of its numerous uses like in consumer products,
including paints, paper, plastics and rubber, printing inks, coated fabrics, and textiles, as well as
ceramics, floor coverings, roofing materials, cosmetics, toothpaste. In Pakistan there is no industry that
commercially produce the titanium dioxide, so we import it from the other countries and therefore we
want to make it in Pakistan.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Time management: Scheduled study hours effectively and submitted project and assignments in
time.
