Leadership Style Indicator

According to Kartono (2008), a person's leadership style can be seen and assessed from several
indicators as follows:

1. Ability to Make Decisions. Decision making is a systematic approach to the nature of the
alternatives faced and taking action according to calculations is the most appropriate action.

2. Ability to Motivate. Motivating Ability is the driving force that causes a member of the
organization to be willing and willing to mobilize their abilities (in the form of expertise or skills)
energy and time to carry out various activities for which they are responsible and fulfill their
obligations, in the context of achieving predetermined organizational goals and objectives. //
2.Kemampuan Memotivasi. Kemampuan Memotivasi adalah Daya pendorong yang mengakibatkan
seorang anggota organisasi mau dan rela untuk menggerakkan kemampuannya (dalam bentuk
keahlian atau keterampilan) tenaga dan waktunya untuk menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan yang
menjadi tanggung jawabnya dan menunaikan kewajibannya, dalam rangka pencapaian tujuan dan
berbagai sasaran organisasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya.

3. Communication Skills. Communication Ability Is the skill or ability to convey messages, ideas, or
thoughts to other people with the aim that other people understand what is meant properly,
directly verbally or indirectly.

4. Ability to Control Subordinates. A Leader must have the desire to make others follow his wishes
by using personal power or position power effectively and appropriately for the long term interests
of the company. This includes telling others what to do in a tone that can range from assertive to
demanding or even threatening. The goal is that tasks can be completed properly. / 4.Kemampuan
Mengendalikan Bawahan. Seorang Pemimpin harus memiliki keinginan untuk membuat orang lain
mengikuti keinginannya dengan menggunakan kekuatan pribadi atau kekuasaan jabatan secara
efektif dan pada tempatnya demi kepentingan jangka panjang perusahaan. Termasuk di dalamnya
memberitahukan orang lain apa yang harus dilakukan dengan nada yang bervariasi mulai dari nada
tegas sampai meminta atau bahkan mengancam. Tujuannya adalah agar tugas-tugas dapat
terselesaikan dengan baik.

5.Responsibility. A leader must have responsibility to his subordinates. Responsibility can be


interpreted as an obligation that must bear, bear responsibility, bear everything or give
responsibility and bear the consequences.

6. Ability to Control Emotional. The ability to control emotions is very important for the success of
our lives. The better our ability to control emotions, the easier it will be for us to achieve happiness
