Information in this document applies to any platform.

GOAL

How to Integrate Primavera Cloud Projects with P6 using the standard Integration option in Primavera Cloud for P6 EPPM.

SOLUTION

Depending on your environment the setup instructions will be different due to how P6 is hosted.

On-Premise Environment

1. When connecting to Primavera Cloud Projects from an On-Premise environment, P6 needs to be allowed
(allowlisted) in the Oracle Cloud in order to connect successfully to Primavera Cloud Projects. Please verify that P6
is a supported version for Integrating with Primavera Cloud. SEE

2. P6 Web Services needs to be updated from the OOTB (Out Of The Box) settings in order for this to work.

Please gather the below information and then enter a Service Request:

*NOTE - IP Addresses cannot be used

SSL Connections (HTTPS)

Full URL to Web Service (e.g. https://<server>:<port>/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1)


Verify URL is available outside the host network
FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the P6 Server
Trusted CA certificate from the Host Server (refer to your Administrator of the P6 Environment.) This must
contain the ROOT and INTERMEDIATE certificates.

Non SSL Connections (HTTP)

Full URL to Web Service (e.g. http://<server>:<port>/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1)


Verify URL is available outside the host network
FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the P6 Server

After access is opened please enter your Web Service URL In the Integration App

1. Launch Primavera Cloud Projects


2. Go to Global Admin
3. Click on Integrations
4. Click on P6 EPPM
5. Click on Integrate
6. Click on Connect
7. Click on Add Connection
8. Enter required information
9. Click on 'Test Connection'

Cloud Hosted Environment (OCI and Non-OCI)

Primavera Cloud (OCI/GBUCS) to P6 GBUCS


When connecting to Primavera Cloud Projects from a P6 Cloud Hosted Environment, Oracle needs to open
access to it in Primavera Cloud Projects.
Eventually when the P6 Environment is moved to OCI the URL will need to be updated.
Please gather the below information then enter a Service Request:
P6 Prod/Stage/Test/Dev URL(s) - include any P6 Environments that you may want to integrate with
The Web Service URL used is different from your native P6 URLS and should follow this format.

PROD:
https://<SERVICE_INSTANCE>-p6.oracleindustry.com/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1
e.g. https://<SERVICE_INSTANCE>-
p6.oracleindustry.com/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1

STAGE
https://<SERVICE_INSTANCE>-stage-
p6.oracleindustry.com/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1
e.g. https://<SERVICE_INSTANCE>-stage-
p6.oracleindustry.com/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1

Primavera Cloud OCI to P6 OCI


There are no restrictions due to internal firewall issues so the URL is below. It can be entered into
Primavera Cloud and should work immediately
PROD
https://<SERVICE_URL>/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1
STAGE
https://<SERVICE_URL>/stage/p6ws/services/SyncServiceV1

After access is opened, please enter your Web Service URL In the Integration App.

1. Launch Primavera Cloud Projects.


2. Go to Global Admin.
3. Click on Integrations.
4. Click on P6 EPPM.
5. Click on Integrate.
6. Click on Connect.
7. Click on Add Connection.
8. Enter required information.
9. Click on 'Test Connection.'
