Oscar travels …… work often. He goes ……….Zurich at least once a month.

Usually he
spends a few days ………Zurich.

Oscar lives …… Barcelona. He likes to travel …….Zurich early ………. the morning ………
Mondays. He packs his suitcase carefully ……….the evening ……………..his travel. Oscar gets
up ………. 5.30 am, drinks a glass of water, dresses and leaves the house immediately. He
goes …….. the airport ……… taxi.

Oscar arrives …….. the airport ………… 6 am. He usually prints his boarding pass ………the
office in advance the day before and goes straight ……….the security check counter. He
only has one small carry-on suitcase – he does not have to check it ……... . Security officer
asks Oscar to take …….. his computer and his plastic bag with small personal hygiene
products. He also asks Oscar to take ………… his shoes and his belt.

Security check is over. Oscar packs his computer back ……….. the suitcase and goes ……….
the information screen to check the status of his flight. It is still too early ………… the flight,
therefore, there is no information about it ………the information screen. Oscar goes ………
the café to have a sandwich and a cup of coffee. He finds a newspaper ……..the table and
reads it.

It is 6.30. Oscar finishes his coffee and goes ……… the information screen. The information
screen shows his flight status “Go to the gate”. The gate number is 45. Oscar finds his gate
and sits ……… to wait until boarding time. ………. 6.45 the airport staff announces that the
flight to Zurich No LX 156 is now boarding. Oscar sits ……..the lounge and waits for the
majority of passengers to board the plane. He presents his boarding pass …….. the airport
staff and boards the plane ………..the last minute. The flight attendant shows him his seat
……..the plane and offers him a newspaper.

Flight attendants give safety instructions. Oscar listens carefully and tightens his safety
belt. The plane leaves Barcelona ………time - ………..7.00am. Oscar is sleepy and takes
another cup of coffee in the plane with a croissant. He reads La Vanguardia ……….. the
Spanish economic crisis ……….the flight. Oscar looks …………the window to see the snowy
Alps.

Time passes quickly and the plane lands ……. Zurich …….time - …………8.30am. Oscar takes
his suitcase, thanks the flight attendants and rushes ………..work. He takes a train to go
……….his office in Zurich. The train arrives quickly and takes only 15 minutes to go ………
the city center. Oscar gets off ……….the ”Hauptbanhoff” station and walks another 5
minutes. He is ……….. his Zurich office …… 9am. He calls his wife to tell that everything is
ok, says hello to his colleagues and starts his computer.
