This apparatus is used to determine the coefficient

of discharge (Cd), Coefficient of velocity (Cv) and
Coefficient of contraction (Cc) of different types of
orifice. The system is closed circuit.

Description:
The apparatus consists of a plain steel shaft
encased in a bearing and directly driven by a small
electric motor. The bearing is freely supported on
the shaft and sealed at the motor end.

The motor speed is precisely controlled and

adjusted by specially designed control unit and can
be run in both the directions.

The bearing contains twelve equispaced pressure

tapping around its circumference and four additional
ones along its topside and on a vertical radial plane.
All are connected by light and flexible plastic tubes
to the rear manometer panel so that pressure head
of a oil at all sixteen points can be clearly observed
at all times.
Oil is supplied to a low pressure region at both ends
of the bearings by an adjustable reservoir fitted at
the side of the rear panel.

These are especially designed for short arc capability of welding with wire size ranging from
0.06 to 1.2/1.2 to 1.6 mm. In our machines, the weld is down to upto 30 amps and these are
best suited for sheet metal application. Moreover, our machines are ideal for general
fabrication purposes upto 250 amps.

M.S. reservoir with gauge glass & scale fitting, drain valve of ½ ” size & a

M.S. collecting as well as measuring tank with bypass arrangement &

drain valve of 1” size. A gauge glass & scale fitting are fitted on measuring
tank for discharge measurement.

Gate Valve is provided to control discharge. Pressure gauge and Vacuum

Gauge are mounted on delivery line and Suction line respectively for
measurement of delivery head and suction head.

Control Panel consists of Energy meter, switch, Speed Controller & digital
speed indicator.

Strong iron stand to support the unit.

Entire unit is powder coated with good colour combination.

The individual gauge block is a metal or ceramic block that has been
precision ground and lapped to a specific thickness. Gauge blocks
come in sets of blocks with a range of standard lengths. In use, the
blocks are stacked to make up a desired length. The blocks are joined
by a sliding process called wringing, which causes their ultraflat
surfaces to cling together. A small number of gauge blocks can be used
to create accurate lengths within a wide range.We can offer slip gauges
in inspection, workshop and standards room grades and can be directly
used for checking width of slots. Other than this, these can also be used
for setting comparators

Universal Testing Machine

The Asian UTM -digital provide a relatively inexpensive way for determining
the Tensile,compression,shear strength and elongation of variety of raw
materials such as metals,rubber, leather , fabric, plastics, Belts , wires
etcetera. They are based on constant rate of traverse principle in which one
end of the test specimen is held in a stationary grip, while the other end is
made to move at a known fixed speed. The load exerted on the stationary
grip indicated by a digital load indicator. The controller is microproccer based
and has the facility of over load protection, peak hold and auto calibration.
The load directly indicated in kilograms or Newton OR KN.

The elongation of the test specimen is measured on a linear scale (or digital
indicator according to the model) fixed on the frame of the tester, which
indicates the distance between the grips.

The frame of the tester fabricated from mild steel to give the required rigidity
and strength. Various built in safety arrangements such as over travel
protection, Are provided.

The tester is finished in metallic painting/powder coated and bright chrome/

zinc plating to give the apparatus a corrosion resistant finish. It is supplied
complied with electrical,which include micro-, switches. Push buttons, and
contactors for safe and convenient operation.

A variety of grips suitable for holding different materials are offered as

optional accessories. Other accessories such as slab moulding dies, specimen
