Greetings Eagles Families!

Today, we are kicking off our annual Fall Fundraiser for the Music Department at Escalante.
Each year, we raise money toward our Spring Trip for 7th and 8th Grades, as well as other trips
throughout the year, purchasing supplies and music rights, and paying festival and clinician
fees.

In the last two years, we have raised over $12,000 each year, which has allowed many students
to attend the spring trip for free, as well as offer additional scholarships to qualifying students.
We have also been able to repair and replace several aging instruments and tune our pianos for
choir concerts.

Our fundraiser is a Sales Catalog through Believe kids, which can be done on paper or online
and usually has many great gift ideas for birthdays and holidays. Students are incentivized by
prizes earned based on the number of items they sell. Items ordered via the physical catalog will
ship directly to Escalante and then be available for pick-up. Students/ families are then
responsible for delivering the items to their supporters.

MONEY TIP: Collect all money from your customers/ supporters, and then write one check to
Escalante to ensure that you have collected the correct amount. This also ensures that the
order can be submitted on time and items may arrive sooner.

Students are reminded that safety always comes first, and they must always ask permission
prior to going out to fundraising and should never go alone. The safest and easiest way to
fundraise is by creating an online account at ShopFund.com and sharing your shop link to any
potential customers.
