WEAKNESSES OF LINE TRACING CAR

During the construction of the line tracing car, we identified various weaknesses and
inefficiencies in the robot. The construction of the robot puts our patience to the test after
numerous attempts and errors. It is inevitable that difficulties occur when constructing a robot,
and we must be patient and continue to try. Inadequate supplies of components and connecting
wires are common problems in constructing a robot. We didn't have enough infrared sensors
when we built the robot, so we borrowed them from other groups after they were done with
them. We could say it was really difficult since testing the sensor took so long because we had to
wait our time to borrow sensors from the other group.

Another problem we found was the improper connection of wires. Despite having the
schematic diagram for connecting the wires to the components, we found it difficult to follow
because one mistake in connecting the wires will cause the robot to malfunction; thus, we
thoroughly connected the wires to their proper connection to avoid errors when testing the robot.
Next, we struggled with the batteries since we wanted to determine the appropriate voltages to
keep the motors running properly. We were having difficulty using the battery power when
testing the robot because it may lose power at any point. Additionally, one of the most common
problems in constructing a robot with an Arduino is error in programming. To be honest, this was
the most difficult aspect of building the robot since we were unable to find the correct code to
allow the robot to work properly when put in the line path. As a coder, I wanted to look for more
information that could help me determine the code and select the code for our robot.
Furthermore, the infrared sensors' unresponsiveness or inaccurate detection made it difficult to
test the robot. Moreover, we ran into problems with the placement of the components on the
base, which was critical in order for the robot to function properly. Lastly, due to a shortage of
funds for other components, we struggled to acquire the other components.

To summarize, it is expected that you will face several hardships and obstacles when
building a robot. However, this will allow you to test your patience and perseverance in order to
complete the creation of your robot. If you encounter the aforementioned problems and trials,
keep working on it and believe that you will finish it and it will turn out well as planned.
