Abstract
• In the age of digital storytelling, the interplay between traditional narratives and emerging digital forms has
ushered in a transformative wave of creativity. This study delves into this dynamic landscape, focusing on the
profound implications of Afrah Shafiq's digital masterpiece, 'Sultana's Reality,' which draws inspiration from Rokeya
Sakhawat Hossain's pioneering work, 'Sultana's Dream.' Rooted in the exploration of women's empowerment and
education, 'Sultana's Reality' takes the form of an interactive storyboard, seamlessly blending the rich narrative
heritage of the past with the possibilities of the digital present.

• The study conducts a comparative analysis of 'Sultana's Reality' and 'Sultana's Dream,' shedding light on how the
digital medium, through elements like hyperlinks, multimedia, and interactivity, redefines narrative structures.
It explores how these digital tools influence plot development, character engagement, and audience immersion, thereby
altering the essence of storytelling itself.

• The study unearths the digital platform's potential to reinvigorate timeless narratives, offering fresh insights into the
evolution of storytelling in the digital age. 'Sultana's Reality' not only preserves the legacy of Rokeya Sakhawat
Hossain but also invites users to actively engage with the narrative, forging new connections between the past
and the present. This exploration sheds light on the profound impact of digital media on narrative reimaginings,
opening doors to a future where storytelling knows no bounds.

Comparative Analysis
“The Sultana's Dream” is the manifestation of Rokeya's of the unfaltering
approach towards empowering the women.

Her essay, narrated in a dream sequence details her concept of the

emancipation of women where they are subject to no restriction levied upon
them by the male counterparts. She sees women in a variety of ways.

Rokeya’s opinions are similar to the ones voiced in the 21st century feminists
were women’s empowerment is considered as one of the mainstream
developments and progress around the world.
