This resource is a free bonus station designed to target 3 of the Supporting
Standards for 3rd grade multiplication & division in a FUN & ENGAGING
format. This document includes Bonus STAAR Station: Multiplication & Division
Bingo along with a student Station Study Guide. This resource follows the
same format as the stations included in the 3rd Grade STAAR Station Bundle.
The Bundle includes 10 STAAR Stations that address ALL the Readiness
Standards. These resources work great to review 3rd grade “Big Ideas”, as a
Test-Prep resource, for RTI or Small Group instruction, as a Summer School
guide, or as an End of Year culmination activity!

This resource is a collaborative effort between two deeply passionate Texas

math loving teachers with experience in K through 10th grade classrooms as
teachers, coaches, and math specialists. We are both incredibly proud of this
resource and hope you LOVE it! If you have any questions along the way you
can reach us at: cat@catherinesolanik.com or melissa@marvelmath.com
or find us on Teachers Pay Teachers at:

What’s Included:
1) STAAR Bonus Station Multiplication &
Division Bingo: This station addresses TEKS
3.4DEF. Simply print station on card stock,
laminate, and have students play the Bingo
game. Use the Study Guide Booklet for
students to record their work.

This bonus station will look like this.

2) STAAR Station Study Guide Booklet: The Station Study Guide includes
Review, Practice, and Extend sections so each station functions as a
complete lesson. Use the Review section first, prior to each station, to
review important concepts from the standards covered in each station. The
Review section can be completed in a whole class or small group setting. The
Practice section is the math workstation activity. Students record their
work from each station in their STAAR Station Study Guide. The last section
is the Extend section. This section is designed to provide students the
opportunity to reflect and think more deeply about the “Big Ideas” behind
each standard. The cover page for this resource functions as a Notes page
as well.

The Study Guide Pages will
look like this. Just print or
copy the Study Guide
using 2 sided format and
fold.

3) Answer Keys: Answer keys in the bundle are provided in two formats. A
student friendly format is included for each station so students can check
their work as they complete each station. This bonus station does not
include this feature. The Teacher Edition key for this game can be copied and
used by students for this station. A complete Teacher Edition of the Station
Study Guide is included and provides answers to all sections of the Study
Guide in a red font.

4) Station Cover Pages for Easy Organization: Each station comes with a
cover page which includes “I can” statements identifying the standards that
each activity targets. These covers work great to organize each station.

Use the Cover Pages to
label folders for
organization!

The TEKS are included on

each station making it
easy to organize by
standard.

5) Readiness Standards: Why does the bundle focus on Readiness Standards?

Readiness standards are essential for success at each grade level. They are
important for preparing a student for the next grade level and they
address broad and deep ideas. Only approximately 30% of the standards at
each grade level are categorized as Readiness Standards but they make up
65% of the STAAR Assessment. This allows teachers to focus on fewer
standards at a greater depth.

6) Color and Black-White Version: Both color and black-white versions are
included.

TEXAS ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Supporting Standards:
3.4(D) Determine the total number of objects when
TEKS equally sized groups of objects are combined or
arranged In arrays up to 10 by 10.

3.4(E) Represent multiplication facts by using a variety

of approaches such as repeated addition, equal sized groups, arrays, area
models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting.

3.4(F) Recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the

corresponding division facts.

Printing Tip
Our resources have been carefully formatted to be print friendly and look
best when printed in “actual size”. When printing we recommend selecting the
“actual size” option or deselecting “fit to page”.

The Study Guide in the STAAR Bundle includes a Front Cover page and a Back
Cover “Keeping Track” page. Inside the booklet are the review, practice and
extend pages for each station. Notes pages are included at the end to
provide space for any extra reminders or notes you want your class to
have. The completed Study Guide can be taken home after the stations are
completed to review for STAAR or to show parents what students have

How Can I Use The Bundle in My Classroom?:

1. Guided Math & Intervention: This resource works great for Guided
Math and Intervention! Pull groups of students that need practice
based on specific standards. Use to review, practice, and extend
student understanding.
2. Test-Prep: Use for preparing students for standardized formatted
state assessments. This TEKS based resource targets the highly
tested Readiness Standards. The STAAR Station Study Guide serves as
another tool for students to use in order to prepare for testing.
3. End of Year Culmination: Set aside time the last month of school to
rotate students through these fun math stations. Send them home
with a completed STAAR Station Study Guide which includes all the “Big
Ideas” from their year in 3rd Grade.

Instructions
One player spins the spinner and all players can place one chip on their bingo board
each round. Place a chip on a box that either represents the fact on the spinner or
has a related division fact. Write the multiplication fact from the spinner and the
product in the box using a dry-erase marker. When your game is complete, record
the multiplication facts for all of the boxes used during the game. Play several games
to complete all of the boxes in your study guide.
