This game includes grotesque body horror, torture, dehumanization, bestiality, pregnancy,
sexual situations, and consenting to having horrible things done to you by someone you love.
Read and play with caution, keeping in mind that you can take a break or
stop completely at any time.
This is not a game about success or failure. This is not a game about escape. This game is meant
to be a challenging, harrowing, emotional, and downright grotesque exploration of your
transformation. If that doesn’t sound fun to you, that’s intentional.
Remember that you can change, ignore, rewrite or abandon any part of this game that you
want.

MON
MONTHS
To play, you will need:
OW
• A standard deck of cards with the jokers removed
• A 6-sided die
• 10 tokens (e.g. fingernail clippings, apple seeds)
• A jenga or other tumbling block tower (optional)
• A red marker or pen to draw on your naked skin
• Something to write in, such as a notebook or word processor
Set up your tumbling block tower (or replacement). Roll 1d6 and pull that many blocks from
the tower. Every block pulled represents how closer you are to giving yourself over to Him and
accepting your new life as a horse.
Shuffle the deck of cards and place it within reach. Record your first journal entry using the fol-
lowing script, or by writing your own similar entry.
For the full experience, I’d recommend you play the game completely naked while immersed in
nature. Start with Month # 1 and begin the game. For your first month, roll the die twice and
pick the higher number. Do not pull from the tower.
NTHS
The game is divided into months and each month has two steps: transforming/remembering and
writing.
Roll 1d6 and draw that number of cards from Record your experiences in a journal. Write
the deck, placing them face down without about what has happened and what you feel,

CK
The deck of cards is divided into four categories based on suits. Consult the tables below each
time you flip a card to determine what you must do. Some cards will have you pull from the
tower, place or remove tokens from a card, or have you shuffle a card back into the deck.
Some will ask you questions about your feelings or the situation.

HI
A♥ LEAVING HIM
Something clicks inside you. This whole thing - it isn’t what you want. This isn’t going to make you
happy.
You make your decision. Now it’s time to plan your escape, but you’re going to have to be
careful about this. You know exactly what he’s capable of when he gets upset.
Do not discard this card. Put it to the side and place ten tokens on it. At the end of each day, after
writing in your journal, roll a d6. On a result of 6, remove a token from the card and describe
how you take one more step into freeing yourself from Him. When you remove the last token
from the card, make a final pull from the tower.
If the tower stands, you successfully escape and leave Him behind. Describe how you escape
to return back to your previous life, forever scarred by your experiences.

K♥ HIS EVERYTHING
You love how you need Him and He needs you. It’s like He was made for you as much as you
are being made to be for Him. It’s something you could see yourself enjoying for the foreseeable
future so you drop on your hocks to propose to a life of married bliss with Him. He responds with
a tearful yes.
Do not discard this card. Set it aside where you can see it. If this is the fourth King you’ve drawn,
you have a beautiful wedding, just the two of you, by the creek where the fairy rings grow.
US
In a moment of tenderness, He crosses a line with you. However, this causes you to realize your-
self as an equal partner in this relationship and draw a set of hard boundaries with Him, which
He is obliged to respect. He’s nothing without you, after all.
Do not discard this card. Set it aside where you can see it. If you’ve also drawn the Ace of
Hearts, you can remove a token when you roll a 5 or 6 at the end of the day.
8♦ CANDLELIGHT DINNER
He prepares a feast for the both of you, a finely curated selection of your favourite foods divid-
ed into childhood treats to organic desserts to plant-based vegetarian mains. It’s all very well
researched.
9♦ LONG RIDES
He puts you in the back of His pickup truck and takes you for a drive up the mountain to enjoy
the fresh air and scenic views. He stops at a point where you can see all the peaks and dips of
the mountain range as they come together to form a magnificent landscape.
Far away in the distance, you can see a multicoloured spattering of small town houses. You won-
der what their lives are like right now. You wonder what it’s like to be with other people.
The bird seems to be healing fine until you find it dead in its cage at the end of the month. He
tries His best to console you.

K♦ HUSBANDRY
A swollen abdomen and a rectal examination confirms that you’re pregnant with His child. He’s
ecstatic, loudly proclaiming his newfound Fatherhood throughout His halls. You wonder if you’ll
end up exactly like your own mother.
Do not discard this card. Set it aside where you can see it. If this is the fourth King you’ve
drawn, you stop thinking and surrender yourself to the transformation, giving into thoughts of
sweet carrot lunches and long walks in the nearby prairie.
A year later, you give birth to a beautiful half-human, half-horse child who shares your flowing
mane and elongated face.

there’s nothing you can do to get it back.

K♣ SAFETY
You remember the night you truly opened up to Him and poured out the length and breadth of
your pain in choked sobs. You remember how He kissed you on the forehead after, gave you a
tight hug, and looked at you with zero judgement. You remember that moment as the safest you
had ever felt up til that point.
Do not discard this card. Set it aside where you can see it. If this is the fourth King you’ve drawn,
you finally accept to yourself that no one will ever love you like He does and apart from Him,
you are truly and completely unlovable.
You wholeheartedly give into the life He has prepared for you, transformation and all.
Sometimes, you trot straight up to the border of the estate, marked by a rotted wooden fence,
and gaze into the outside world. For a brief moment, you think about how easy it would be to
jump over and run away from this life you’ve chosen… but of course, you let the thought loose
and turn back to the mansion. It’s almost as if He knows you’re not going to leave anytime soon.
Do not discard this card. Set it aside where you can see it. If you’ve also drawn the Ace of

Take a moment.
Breathe.
What happened? Did you escape the estate and cut ties with your Beloved? Or did you give
into your transformation, accepting your new life as a horse and a wife?
Look at your body. Take time to look at the dotted lines you have drawn on your skin. Are you
happy with how things turned out? How far did the transformation go before the game ended?
How much of you has changed? Do you think there’s still a chance that things can go back to
normal?
Then, think about the choices you have made. Think about why you would’ve gone on for as
long as you did.
Ask yourself why you thought this was a good idea in the first place.
