Good Morning Everyone! TODAY, we the Generals House are here to conduct the
assembly on this glorious morning.

I am _____________ and I will be hosting the assembly today.

First, for the thought for the day, we summon the wisest advisor of the hemisphere
_____________.

Thank You ____________. I am sure we can all acknowledge that you truly are the
wisest of all. I am truly elated to be in your presence

Moving forward, we have the news report being given to us by ____________

(The person reading the news is sleeping, sitting on a chair with the newspaper in
his/her hand)

____________ Hey wake up!

(After which going and waking him up)

(News starts off in a bit of a sleepy voice)

That was highly informative for those who listened. I’m sure everyone would have found
that “news” (pause) intriguing.

Our news reader forgot to mention this but thankfully, I'm here. Breaking news, our
friends _______, _______ etc are celebrating their birthdays! So let's make them realize
how great it is to be alive!

Student presentation(speech):

Good Morning all. I am _______________ here to deliver a speech on a pressing

problem in society which day by day seems to be on the rise- war.
As you have heard and witnessed from the news around you, the global unity is starting
to disintegrate and there is a suspicion of the arisal of the Third World War which is
believed to lead to the end of the world. There are constant battles taking place around
the world. For example, Russia invading Ukraine, Afghanistan being taken over by the
Taliban and many more. These battles arise due to many reasons but the end result is
the suffering of the common people.

The innocent men,women and children get affected in these wars. The men being
forced to fight for the country’s sovereignty are brutally killed. The women and children
are forced to live in terrible conditions. The lives of students who travel to these
countries for education are also broken as they have no ways of continuing their
education there. Ultimately, we can see the years of development washed down the
drain.

Peace is the ideal state of living where all the communities of earth live in harmony with
minimal conflicts. No country or state can be completely peaceful, but they can function
to the best of their abilities. War is just a waste of a country’s resources for the sole
reason of asserting one’s dominance over the other.

You might be wondering why I am bringing up this topic. Well, I feel that this is a very
serious problem in society and I feel hurt and disgusted watching people suffer from the
consequences of war. I wanted to take this opportunity to take a stand against war and
promote peace. I hope all of you will do the same. I conclude my speech with a quote
from Albert Einstein

"I know not with what weapons world war 3 will be fought but world war 4 will be fought
with sticks and stones"
