Work on Annual Leave arrangement

With immediate effect, Full-time, Half-time, Half-day Bus Captain and Full-time Regulator
Grade colleagues who fulfil the following conditions may choose to Work on Annual Leave
(“WAL”). Colleagues who WAL will receive annual leave payment as usual, in addition, hours
worked on annual leave will be paid as the same calculation as Work on Holiday (“WH”).
Please feel free to contact the Allocation Units for application procedure or enquires.

New feature in Staff app is under development for the ease to check the available balance
for WAL, memo will be issued in due course. After the new policy introduced, the annual
leave balance on the payslip may not be the latest record, please check the balance through
intranet until the system update is completed.

Conditions:

The annual leave entitlement which exceeds 10 days in a particular common leave
year (i.e. 1st January to 31st December); or

The annual leave entitlement under contact and the prevailing company annual leave
policy which exceeds the statutory requirement under the Employment Ordinance
(See Appendix).

The approval of WAL is determined by the department according to the work performance
and attendance, the company reserves the absolute right to adjust the above arrangements.
