Assignment #2

Title: Draw A Mouse In solidworks using

sweep Lofted surface commands.
STEP#1:
First open solidworks in you pc/laptop then select part and press ok.

STEP#2:
Then Save a file (with your name and registration number) using Save As optio in
solidworks.
STEP#3:
Select Right plane and select sketch and start sketching, then select spline and
making sketch with given dimensions as shown in figure.

Then your sketch look like that.

STEP#4:
Then make two reference plane,one using spline and other parallel to the top
plane then draw a three point centerpoint arc and make dimensions given below.

STEP#5:
Then draw a three point CenterPoint arc on 1st plane as shown in figure and
make dimensions given below.
STEP#6:
Then start sketching on top plane(2nd plane) , use 3Point arc to draw the given
sketch as shown in figure.

Then your sketch look like that.

STEP#7:
Then first show surface sweep command and extrude the surface with given
dimensions.

Then your sketch look like that.

STEP#8:
Then trim the unnecessarily part from the sketch.

After trimming it looks like that.

STEP#9:
Then apply a face fillet of 3mm on top of sketch as shown in figure.
STEP#10:
Then apply fillet of 10mm on top of sketch

STEP#11:
Then select the top plane and sketch and extrude the given space for scroll button
with given dimensions, and use the extrude cut command to remove extra space.
STEP#12:
Then apple the straight slot and use extrude cut option to cut it.

STEP#12:
Then in slot draw a circle of given dimensions.
STEP#13:
Then use extrude boss/base command.

After that it look likes,

STEP#14:
Here’s our laser mouse is ready,and now make some finishing on mouse like
surface colour etc.
