Replacement of electrical cable

1. Bring the boom in horizontal position and make the exten-

sion completely retract.

2. Remove the rear panel.

3. Remove the front guard on the boom hood.

4. In case of machine with basket pre-arrangement, remove

the socket from the electric board and repeat the same axles
found inside the false socket on the boom.

5. In case of machine with basket pre-arrangement, disconnect

the 24 wires inside the socket.

6. In case of machine with electric contact only, disconnect the

6 wires inside the socket.

7. Secure the cable to be replaced to the new cable by tighten-

ing certain wires of the same together; wrap them with adhe-
sive tape in order to form one uniform cable.

8. Move to the rear part of the boom.

Remove the clamps holding the cable to the tubes and start
removing the same from the bottom left chute, inside the
extension.

9. Extract the whole cable to be replaced with a new one.

Leave the length for the socket connection like in origin, in
the front part of the boom.

10. Continue pulling the cable to be replaced so that a new one

can be inserted in the lower part of the hose carrier chain.

11. Once the entire cable has come out from the upper part of
the chain, start-up the engine and lift the boom.

12. Switch-off the engine and secure the safety support to the
lifting cylinder.

13. Remove the side guard of the cab and start disconnect-
ing the cable:

A - Winch basket pre-arrangement.

B - Electric contact pre-arrangement.

14. Connect the new cable to the sockets like in origin following
the reverse phases with sequence “13-4-5/6”.
Respect connection like in origin.

15. Arrange the cable path fastening it with the new clamps and
mount the cab side guard again.

16. Remove the safety support on the lifting cylinder and lower
the boom.

17. Assemble all guards and panels removed in points 2 and 3
