Primary Responsibilities

1. Ephesians 4:11-13. Develop a volunteer team that is fully qualified to serve the
Lord by serving one another.
2. Participate in all Sr. Staff meetings to develop and implement the overall direction
of the church.
3. Oversee all production and creative elements for the church.
4. Identify, invite, mentor, and empower Leaders to be a part of the Creative Arts
ministry.
5. Develop multiple Worship Leaders and musicians across multiple campuses and
services (when applicable).
6. (For now) Be the primary Worship Leader; lead Worship 40 times a year, and on
all strategic Sundays. Be willing to lead in other environments as necessary.
7. Oversee all worship and musical elements for the church.
8. Manage planningcenteronline.com. Ensure that materials for the band are online
at the appropriate time (at least 4 weeks out).
9. Manage the Scheduling of musicians and worship leaders for weekend services,
as well as student services (when applicable).
10. Manage band rehearsals.
11. Ensure that the band is able to play songs with excellence.
12. Develop and manage the Creative Arts budget. Ensure that financial procedures
are followed in your department.
13. Lead the production team in brainstorming, scheduling and implementing the
Worship services. Ensure that content and creativity match, and are planned at an
appropriate pace (4-6 weeks out).
14. Oversee the setup and operation of the adult Worship service(s), including sound,
lights and video.
15. Pastor, Coach, and care for all Worship Staff & Volunteers. Take key Leaders to
other Church services, conferences and meetings that will help equip them for the
work of the ministry.
16. Communicate with other Church’s Worship pastors and watch other church
services to gain insight and develop ways to improve the effectiveness of the
Worship experience.
17. Oversee graphics and video, including our freelance graphic designer. Ensure
that projects are completed on schedule.
18. Through volunteers, oversee the distribution of audio and video content to
Riverview Websites.
19. Oversee First Impressions Ministry.
20. Other duties as deemed by the Lead Pastor.

 Give at least 10% of your income to the vision of Riverview Church.
 Be loyal to the vision and staff of Riverview Church and always protect the unity of
the church.
 Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Riverview Church.
