Theoretical Framework

The development of Spiritual Nursing Care Theory using deductive axiomatic approach’’ of

individual has holistic needs in body, mind and spiritual well-being. The study explained that Patients'
quality of life will be improved, and their suffering will be reduced if nurses are able to identify their
patients' spiritual requirements and create interventions to assist them to meet those needs. This study
is supported by the ‘’theory of Teaching spiritual care to nurses’’ Ross, L.A. (1996) Where the study
emphasized that Nurses believed that they required more training in order to provide spiritual
care a guideline for nurse education, it should be taught to nurses, and nursing literature suggests that
spiritual care is a component of the nurse's job. The practical application of spiritual care and to find out
about potentiality of the nursing profession to put spiritual care into practice. The study aim that
spiritual care should be taught to student nurses to perceived the effective that the nurses are well
educated and prepared in terms of giving spiritual care and continuously explored it in clinical setting.
When these requirements are met, they will adopt a more positive attitude toward healing, and they
will be more responsive to healthcare interventions.
