-Do you think that they are happy? Why or why not?

Features:

+Choice: Students can choice what they will say and how they say. Teacher show the picture with
open questions enable students to answer freely and personally. Ss can answer questions
differently such as the mother is cooking or is preparing meals, the father is putting the dishes or
setting the table,…

+Information gaps: can be partly included in this section. While ss are discussing, they can find
some English phrases unfamiliar in which their friends have said. Therefore, it evokes
communication and further discussion.

Discussion: What benefits do you think you can get from sharing housework?

This activity include all three features of CLT:

+Information gaps: ss contribute and add benefits of doing housework.

+Choice: they can choose sentences, expression, linking devices, agree or disagree to other
students while discussing

+Feedback: they can provide feedback to each others during discussion
