A child like you is a living thing.
From the time you were born,
you began to eat and grow.
There are many changes that
you can observe in your body.

1. Change in Height
As you grow, your body parts
become bigger. Your arms and legs
become longer. Your trunk grows.

2. Change in Weight
As you grow older, you take more food into your body.
The different organs of the body become bigger and
heavier. Your bones and muscles grow and become
heavier.

3. Change in Size
You can observe that your clothes do not fit your body
anymore. The sleeves cannot fit into your arms. Your
clothes change to a bigger size. Your shoes or slippers
need to be bigger too. There is a change in size in your
different body parts. Most children of your age have
the same height and weight. Some children grow taller
and bigger, while others are shorter and smaller.
