survive.

What are the basic needs of our body?

● The basic needs of our body are categorized into: Basic

Go foods give us energy to run, work and play all day.
Examples of go foods are: rice, bread, root crops, cereals

Grow foods help us to grow big and strong by enhancing
growth and development. Examples of grow foods are: milk,
cheese, fish, beans, and other meat foods.

● GLOW FOODS also known as “BODY-REGULATING

FOODS”
Glow foods contain vitamins and minerals that help our
skin to glow, our hair to shine, and our eyes to sparkle.
Examples of glow foods are: vegetables and fruits
● A SHELTER, our home can protect us from any harm or
danger. We need a shelter where we can live and stay safe.
