Introduction
Mobile Games are defined as gaming applications for smart devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Leading app stores like Google's Play Store allows games that are free to download but normally allow
in-app-purchases for various additional contents or access time.

The scope of game development in Pakistan has led to become an abundant part of the application
industry of all mobile apps.

The legend of X: New Universe is a game where you get to play with a scientist collecting minerals and
fighting enemies while discovering new universes.

Problem Statement
The main character Scientist, while working on some invention ends up disturbing another universe. He
goes to sleep but the next time he wakes up he finds himself in another dimension. He now needs to get
back to his universe and planet. By exploring the new universe, he collects object parts he will be
needing to go back to his universe.

Scope
The game consists of some core functionalities and features which re given below.

Character Movement
The character movement would include following features:

• Movement in all directions

• Jumping

• Destroying enemies while bumping them on their head

• As the game proceeds the player is given different weapons.

The game play would get more complex as the player travels the universe. While exploring the player
discovers different weapons that he will be using to defend himself.

Camera Tracking
The camera tracks the player along a pre-defined line in 3D space. It may rotate, speed up or slow down,
fall behind or even move ahead of the player as required. The r can control the camera as well as let it
auto-follow.

 The player is able to move camera by himself, i.e., player can zoom in, zoom out, look forward
and backward. The game style is Third Person Perspective. The player is therefore able to see
his movements at all times.
 When the player doesn’t want to control the camera, it will auto follow. The default mode will
be auto-follow.

Development model details


The development model, Scrum SDLC is used for this game.

• Scrum has the flexible approach that minimizes the chances for making mistakes as it is all about
reassessment of plans and creating iterative phases of work and the game can have new
elements along the way.

• This gives us the leverage of making additional changes in the levels when we are done
implementing a certain phase.

Objective
The main goal of the player is to collect elements from the new universe that it will be using to build a
machine which takes him back to his universe.

Level Designs
The game consists of four worlds; each world consisting of 1 level. Four elemental worlds with different
planes are made which means that game style of each world will be different.

Mineral Gathering
This level consists of collecting elements and objects needed for the invention of machine that will take
the scientist back to his universe.

• Collecting Games are grabbing games, where we need to collect objects. The player must run
behind the coins and gold in order to collect them.

• The player will be collecting gold coins but more importantly items for building a machine that
will be taking him back to his dimension.

Combat
The scientist fights against the monsters of the new universe.

• In this level enemies will be introduced.

• The player will have to fight different creatures and monsters of this dimension.

Puzzle Solving
Puzzle solving is the third world.

• A classic puzzle adventure level would exist.

• The player must solve a puzzle to upgrade its weapons for the next world.

As a reward for solving the puzzle, the player unlocks a new weapon.

Food Collection
Lastly, scientist will be collecting food items. This is required for the scientist to gain back his health after
fighting the monster.

• The player will look for food items so that he can regain his health back for the next world.

• The player will scavenger for apples.

Moving from one world to another
After finishing levels from one world, the player will move to another world and to do its task.

Tool and Technologies


Following tools will be used for the game development

• Unity 3D

• Graphic designing apps (adobe photoshop, gravit designer, pixelmator)

Art Style
Following is the art style description

● The art style of the game would be 3D-style and low poly.

● Art style of each world and level would be different.

World Designs
Each world will have planet like levels.

Targeted Audience
We are targeting an audience of 10+ years. The players playing it for the first time, will not have a hard
time getting the hang of it as the gameplay of our game is quite simple.
