3. A card is drawn from a deck of 52 cards, what is the probability that it is a face card?

4. A coin is tossed three times. What is the probability that the head will appear only once?

5. A family with 5 children is selected at random, what is the probability that all are girls or all are boys?
6. A family with 5 children is selected at random, what is the probability that there are 3 boys and 2 girls?

7. A family with 5 children is selected at random, what is the probability that at least one child is a boy?

8. The probabilities that three men hit a target are 1/6, 1/4, and 1/3, respectively. Each shoot once at the target. If only
