Dear Governor Tan:

This refers to your query regarding the status of the assessment of Local
Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council Officers (LDRRMCOs) of Quezon.

Please be informed that out of forty (42) LDRRMCOs in Quezon Province, this
Office 29 submissions for CY 2022 Gawad KALASAG Seal and Special Awards for
Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance
(LDRRMCOs Category). This is despite the extension of submission until 30 April
2022.

Out of the number, twenty three (23) entries were submitted with duly
accomplished LGU Self-Assessment Toolkit, corresponding Means of Verification
(MOVs) and Omnibus Sworn Statement (OSS). However, only twelve (12) were able
to meet the minimum requirements for the Gawad KALASAG Seal, particularly the
reviewed and certified Local DRRM Plan. Attached is a table of the submission for your
ready reference.

strengthened partnership in attaining disaster-resilient communities in the Province of
Quezon.
