With this activity, the following learning outcomes are expected:

Manages intra-sectoral and inter-sectoral solutions for health problems


that arise from the relationship between Geopolitics, the Environmental
Health and Sustainable Development.

This activity has two components: an individual activity and a


collaborative one.

Individual activity:

All activities must be submitted in English as required in the Rules and


Conditions of the course.
1. Visit the Learning environment and read the bibliographic
references for unit 2.
2. Share in the forum a presentation using the digital tool
Genially, where you expose in a synthetic way the topic
developed in task 2.
In the slides include:
- Title of the study problem and name of the student who develops
it.
- Summary of the relevant factors related to the exposed situation,
as determining factors, impacts at a social, economic,
environmental and health level.

- Current status of the situation, defining whether concrete actions
have been implemented to resolve the situation, their results or
whether there has been no intervention by the competent
organizations or the impacted community.
- Validate that the links and accesses of the presentation in Genially
are correct.

Evidence of Individual activity:

Publication in the forum of the presentation using the digital tool


Genially, with the description of the contents of the topic developed in
task 2. The publication must be made during the first week of opening
of the activity.
Collaborative Activity

The group activity consists of:

Among all the members of the group, select one of the topics
presented by the members and, depending on the chosen problem,
complete the following items using the Genially tool:

1. Define an intrasectoral strategy (health sector) and a Transectoral


strategy (articulate with the environment and other related sectors) to
address the challenges and solutions of the problem.

2. Design an awareness campaign to mitigate or resolve the effects of


the situation, and that is consistent with the proposed strategies.

The campaign must contain:

• Name or title.
• Goal
• Scope or to whom it is addressed (community, institutions, etc.)
• Visual piece, elaborated in a digital tool, which contains a short text
or phrase and an image that defines the objective of the campaign.

Consolidate all the information in a document in Word format that


contains:

• Cover: including the names of the students who participated in the


construction of the work.

• Introduction: in this item, a summary is prepared on the topic
developed, integrating, and interrelating the concepts of Geopolitics,
Environment, Determinants in Health and Sustainable Development.

• Presentation in Genially, with the description of the problematic


situation selected by the group, the proposed strategies, the information
on the awareness campaign (name, objective, scope) and the visual
piece of the campaign.

• Conclusions and Recommendations: Prepare three conclusions that


address the results and important or outstanding findings and one more,
exposing the learning experience of the group work; for example: the
ease of integration, the process of communication and attentive
listening, cooperation and commitment among all team members,
compliance with assigned roles and functions. Likewise, if there are
actions that can be carried out to improve interaction with the group or
some of its members.

Prepare a recommendation where concrete actions for improvement are


suggested, to advance in the solution of the problem studied.

• Bibliographic references according to APA standards.

Evidences of collaborative work:

- Word or pdf document with the presentation in genially, cover


introduction, body of work, conclusions, recommendations and
bibliography, using the APA standard and proper spelling.

- Evidence of participation in the forum, choosing a role, fulfilling


their duties and actively participating in the construction of group
work.

2. General Guidelines for the preparation of the learning
evidence to be delivered.

Keep in mind for the best performance of the Task:

- The alerts role develops a schedule to define the deadline for


publication of the individual activity and start the group work.

-Develop order, aesthetics and creativity in the preparation of digital


material. Be synthetic in the presentation of the contents and use colors
that make it pleasant, restful and easy to view.

-Verify that the access link to the digital resources created is correct,
both individually and in groups to achieve effectiveness in delivery.

- Each of the members of the group participates in the construction of


the work and the evidence of their contribution is validated in the
messages registered in the forum. Interaction through internal
messaging such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, or any other
means must be evidenced by registering the activity in the forum.

-Only the members of the group that participated with contributions


during the time assigned for the activity should be included as authors
of the submitted product.

- Before sending the requested product, students must verify that it


meets all the requirements mentioned in this Activity Guide.

-Present only one document per group, in the Evaluation environment,


and it is done by the person who assumes the role of deliveries.

Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products


must comply with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined
in this activity guide.

Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this


activity must comply with APA Format.

Roles and responsibility in the delivery of products by students:

- Compiler: Consolidate the document that constitutes the final


product of the activity, considering that the participants included were
only those who intervened in the process. You must inform the person
responsible for the alerts to whom you notify those who did not
participate, who are not included in the product to be delivered.
- Reviewer: Ensure that the document complies with the work
presentation standards required by the teacher.
- Evaluator: Ensure that the document contains the criteria present in
the rubric. You should inform the person responsible for the alerts so
that they inform the other members of the team in case any
adjustments to the topic need to be made.
- Deliveries: Alert about the delivery times of the products and send
the document within the stipulated times, using the resources
allocated to the shipment, and indicate to the other partners that the
delivery has been made.
- Alerts: Ensure that the members of the group are notified of new
developments in the work and inform the documents in the work
forum and course messaging, which has sent the document.

Under the Academic Code of Conduct, the actions that infringe the
academic order, among others, are the following: paragraph e)
"Plagiarism is to present as your own work all or part of a written
report, task or document of invention carried out by another person.
It also implies the use of citations or lack of references, or it includes
citations where there is no match between these and the reference"
and paragraph f) "To reproduce, or copy for profit, educational
resources or results of research products, which have rights reserved

The academic penalties students will face are:

a) In case of academic fraud demonstrated in the academic work or


evaluation, the score obtained will be zero (0.0) without any
disciplinary measures being derived.
b) In case of proven plagiarism in academic work of any nature, the
score obtained will be zero (0.0), without any disciplinary measures
being derived.
