USE SUCH CONVICTIONS FOR IMPEACHMENT PURPOSES

You are hereby notified that the District Attorney’s Office has evidence of the following
convictions, which, in the event of your conviction in the above-styled case, will be presented to the
Court for application in sentencing under the Alabama Habitual Offender Statute, Code of Alabama §
13A-5-9 (1975). Furthermore, it is the State’s intent to use such convictions for impeachment purposes
should the defendant testify at trial, in accordance with Rule 609(a), (b), and (c) of the Alabama Rules
of Evidence or as otherwise permissible.
