    AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

    1. To assess following parameters in infertile and fertile males:

     Sperm DNA Integrity


     Protamine-1 (P1), Protamine-2 (P2) levels and their ratio (P1/P2)
     Seminal Oxidant - Malondialdehyde (MDA), Nitric Oxide (NO) and Total
    Oxidant Status (TOS)
     Antioxidants - Total Antioxidant Capacity (TAC) and Zinc (Zn)
     Oxidative Stress Index (OSI)
     Sperm Characters-Sperm Count, Sperm Motility and Sperm Morphology

    2. To study correlation between sperm DNA integrity, protamine-1, protamine-2


    their ratio, oxidative stress, antioxidant status and various semen characters in
    infertile males.

    Hypothesis
     Ho: - There is no difference and correlation between sperm DNA integrity,
    protamine-1, protamine-2 their ratio, oxidative stress, antioxidant status
    and various semen characters in fertile and infertile males.
     H1:- There is difference and correlation between sperm DNA integrity,
    protamine-1, protamine-2 their ratio, oxidative stress, antioxidant status
    and various semen characters in fertile and infertile males.
