Advice #1: Just drop out of school and work odd jobs.

Consequence: This may lead to three things. Either my friend will find it hard to
earn income because he doesn’t have the education that is required in jobs with
decent payments and thus, he will remain in poverty, or he will become a
successful entrepreneur, or, he will have a high paying job, thanks to his hard
work and long years of experience.

Advice #2: Tell him to apply for corporate or government scholarships.

Consequence: This will be very helpful to my friend, but would also really put
pressure on him/her. This will help my friend become more diligent on his studies
and would eventually graduate.

Advice #3: Become a working student.

Consequence: This would help him/her financially, albeit that help would be
determined by the nature of the work, therefore, to earn more money, my friend
must really push himself/herself to his limits, risking his/her physical and mental
health in the process.
