RESEARCH TITLE DEFENSE MECHANICS

1. Each group must prepare 3 comprehensive research title.


2. Research title can either be Pure/Basic/Fundamental (Qualitative or Quantitative) or Applied
Research.

3. Uniform power point templates must be used by each presenter/group.

4. During the title defense, the researcher must prepare the following:

a. Rationale of the Research which answers the following questions (Modelled from Campbells
Inverted Triangle and Swale’s C.A.R.S. Model):

•What are the events or reasons that led to the current investigation?

• What do experts/researchers say about the recent problem?

• How is the recent problem currently addressed by experts/researchers?

• How will the present study address the problem?

• What benefits can be gained if the study will be conducted?

b. At least 3 Statement of the Problem which the study would like to address, and;

c. Actions/Plans to be taken when the study will be conducted.

5. Panelists are free to interrupt the speaker anytime during the presentation whenever necessary.

6. After the presentation and the interview, the panelist will decide which research topic/title will be
conducted by the researchers.

7. Separate Mechanics will be given for the oral and final defense.

March 29, 2023 Final Defense and SIP Exhibit (For STEM)

April 12, 2023 Submission of Softbound Copies (All Strand)
