6. EMPLOYMENT /SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES: By building a community pool facility, along with

the management of the pools after completion will provide a host of employment opportunities
for theyouth from the community. From students to seniors, the pool will create a number of jobs
at varying skills and experience levels for many individuals in the community.

BOT PROJECTS: This project will strictly be on a Built – Operate – Transfer basis for not less than
12 years. The project will be made up on the land provided by Gym Khana etc and the detailed
working ofthe project of constructing the Swimming pool, Filtration Plant Room, Balancing Tank
& Pool deck will be done by Ederra Infra. The pool’s post
construction will also be operated and maintained by Ederra Infra for the stipulated period
mentioned herein.

7. EXECUTION METHODOLOGY: The execution methodology will be as per universal standards

which would begin from excavation, soling, PCC, RCC, Side wall Pardi, Filling in Plinth, Masonry
at plinth level, Flooring, skirting, chambers, waterproofing, Tiling, etc.
Phase 1 - EXCAVATION

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/manual over

areasincluding disposal of excavated earth

Phase II

Rubble Soling work of 300mm, filling the voids with murrum & Kapachi,rolling,

watering and compacting .

 Phase III - PCC work

Providing and laying plain cement Concrete of M10 grade , 100mm thick ; using 20 mm

nominal size well-graded approved quality aggregate and river sand as per approved design

mix, including compacting, curing, establishing approved dewatering system to keep site dry

all time, cleaning, preparing surfaces, junctions, etc. including shuttering complete to the

satisfaction of the EIC at all depths and leads.

PHASE IV – RCC

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade

cement concrete for 300mm reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as par

approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of

centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. Including admixtures in recommended

proportions. asper IS 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete

improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of

Engineer-in-Charge.

 PHASE V – BASE COAT WORK
Providing, Applying & Curing of base coat as per specifications provided

by themanufacturer for bonding after cleaning of the surface and the walls

using brushor soft broom using Dr Fixit Super latex / URP or approved

Equivalent on the complete area complete as per instruction.

PHASE VI – PLASTERING (POOL)

Providing and applying minimum single coat 20 mm thick cement sand plaster in C.M., including

adding2% by weight of cement approved waterproofing compound finished smooth with wooden

rundha to correct line, plumb and level to external surfaces as per drawing etc. required including

independent scaffolding, curing, etc. complete to the approval of the EIC.

 PHASE VI – WATER PROOFING (POOL)

Providing & applying of Waterproofing Double coat of Dr. Fixit Fast Flex or Equivalent, a 2-

component cementitious waterproof liquid applied membrane coating for wet areas in

cementitious,concrete and masonry substance, as per specification. Allowing air curing for 48

hours between thecoats, application methodology should be 1 vertical and 2nd horizontal using

Dr. Fixit Fast flex,

 PHASE VII - TILING LAYING WORK

SWIMMING POOL :Providing and Laying thick Premium (1st) quality vitrified body and light

/ dark in color, endura pool tiles with coated round edges and baked at very high temperature,

rectangular in shape suitable for barefoot usage in wet area and tile should comply with

the international ASA & FINA standards. The glaze of the tile should be of feather / sheen finish.

Water absorption of glaze should be less than 0.5% and water absorption of tile body should be

less than 2.5% as per testmethod 10545-2, Minimum Modulus of Rapture 30 N/mm2 as per test

method 10545-3, Scratch Hardness minimum 5 as per test method EN-101, Linear Thermal

expansion less than 9x10-6K-1 and should also be resistant to swimming pool water cleaning agents

as per test method ISO 10545

fixed on a minimum 4mm thick bed of tile adhesive Diamond Star of Ardex endura or equivalent

ofby leaving 3mm space/grove around all four sides of each tile with the help of 3mm wide pvc

spacer and pointed the same with approved colored epoxy grout of make Roof / Ardex endure /
