1 Introduction
This document explains how to use On-Machine Probing Heidenhain layer to output Heidenhain probing
cycles from On-Machine Probing operations.

1.1 What is it

It is single function to output Heidenhain probing cycles from On-Machine Probing operations in Post
configurator, including tcl, def and psl file. Post writer can import this layer by PC layer manager to any
machining postprocessor for Heidenhain controller.

2 Function
For on-machine probing operation corresponding Heidenhain probing cycles will be output in NC code.
As soon as the layer is imported to Post Configurator postprocessor the cycle style output is active.

3 How to use it

3.1 Import Layer

Click Import Layer button of Layer Manager, choose OMP_heidenhain.psl file in browser.

3.2 Edit Property

Currently there are no properties for any adjustments available.

Output format will follow the setting of standard Heidenhain property Cycle Representation

4 Licensing
For full functionality of the Layer either NX30578 (NX CAM On Machine Probing Execution) or
NX30579 (NX CAM On Machine Probing Author) license is required. A single On-Machine
Probing operation can be post processed without license.
