DIRECTOR
A Film Director is a creative
professional who oversees
the artistic aspects of a
film production. They are
responsible for guiding and
managing the actors and
film crew, interpreting
scripts, and ensuring the IT IS THE JOB OF A DIRECTOR

manage all aspects of


filming, sometimes
operating a camera.
supervise the camera
crew to decide on any
special camera moves.
work closely with the
lighting team to decide
on lighting techniques.
review film footage with
the director.
PRODUCER
Producers, or Film Producers,
oversee the business and
financial matters of a movie,
music album, stage production
or television show. Their main
duties include hiring production
staff, like Directors, Crew
Members and Cast Members,
building the budget for the
production and gaining
intellectual property rights.
SOUND AND LIGHTING
To be responsible for the
management, monitoring
and maintenance of
emergency, stage and
general lighting and of
sound, infra red and
induction loop systems
inclusive of checking and log
testing these systems. To
undertake small
maintenance tasks in the
theatre building and offices
as and when required.
