agreement process to acquire Petrobras’ onshore assets in Colombia ($ 350M), responsible to lead
the technical, financial and legal processes to take over the fields and associated resources, 35K bopd.

• Transaction closing period and assets take over accomplished in seven months, fields fully
appraised, legal and financial agreement defined and dissimilar (geographically) resources
accounted.
• Issue Capex and Opex budgets to maintain the Guando, Espinal, Balay and non-operated fields
in accordance with the investment and development plans.
• Lead the transition process to integrate and restructuring Perenco’s existing resources in
Colombia, with those recently acquired from Petrobras, into a new unified company and to put
in practice the new organization chart based on 900 people initially.
• Assess the economic value of fields post-acquisition, revise existing investment plans and
prepare new plans of development, along with associated projects, to facilitate investment
recovery.
• Encourage the Perenco spirit to former Petrobras employees to ensure that objectives are met,
commitment of the new employees and direct empowerment to perform operations.
• Establish and manage resources to be in charge of each one of the field operations to perform
as part of the new company, 35K bopd and 450K bfpd.

• Perenco’s dividends (2007 – 2012) owed by PDVSA were recovered after a financial and business
agreement was reached based on UK law between both parties.
• Subsidiary P1 reserves were increased significantly after two heavy oil wells were drilled and
tested in Maracaibo Lake, proved reserves study approved by local authorities.
• Business plan of $ 450M for developing Ambrosio HO reserves was issued and agreed with
PDVSA as part of the financial facility using offshore bank as fronting grant and oil off takers.
• Establish and manage the subsidiary resources and ensure the team works as an efficient and
coherent group with the individual roles and responsibilities fully understood and followed.

Project at a conceptual phase: Heavy oil field development project located in the Amazonas region
based on a preliminary production plateau of 60 -30K bopd with an estimated investment of $ 1.5B.

• Review and provide the technical input required for conceptual and basic engineering of both
an oil (20") and diluents (10") pipeline totaling 200 km in length.
• Propose a feasible export scheme which takes into account heavy oil processing in field, dilution,
or alternative types of transportation envisaged for block 67 heavy oil export.
• Asses the availability of diluents and applicability to block 67 oil within both the local or
international markets through a fluid analysis program which includes compatibility, storage and
transporting simulation for selecting a suitable product/blend.
• Active member of the team preparing the POD.

environmental impact study for submitting to authorities for their approval.

Project: ONS Field Development (200M scf/d) engineering, procurement and construction of
platform, jacket, production deck and topsides, central processing facilities and offshore pipeline (65
km - 22") - $ 400M.

• Design the contractual and construction methodology, as well as the planning to be


implemented.
• Responsible for the technical integrity of the onshore and offshore facilities design, reviewing
the basic & detailed engineering and preparing the scope of work for the construction stage.
• Selecting PMT members as per the organization’s needs.

35 km of 10" and 8" with an executed investment of $ 60M.
2. Caño Gandul, Remache Sur, Sirenas and Corocora satellite stations: EP&C for surface facilities
required for wells activated by jet pumping, well testing, storage equipment and booster
stations for fluid transportation as well as 102 km of CS (fluid) and PE (gas) pipelines - $ 40M.
3. Gas pipeline from Floreña (BP field) to Perenco field: EP&C with in-house engineering and
supervision of 20km - 6" pipeline which ensured fuel supply for Yopal and Perenco fields in the
area - $ 8M.
4. Water injection systems in Barquereña and Cravo Sur oilfields 20KBWPD: Facilities development
for installing a water injection systems to disposal wells instead of water discharge to the
environment - $ 15M.

• Ultimate responsibility for execution of the entire project in accordance with basic and detail
engineering.
• Responsible for delivering fully functional facilities, on time, on budget, and with no harm to
people or the environment.
