Accident analysis has historically consisted of the formal development of numerical estimates of
the expected consequence and probability of potential accidents associated with a facility.

1. Accident Rate per Million Entering Vehicles (ARMEV)

ARMEV = accident rate for one million vehicles
A = number of accidents during period of analysis
