I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:

* learn to identify the journalistic text,

* appreciate the important of a paragraph, and

* compose a journalistic text through the guide of inverted pyramid.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Composing Journalistic Text

Lesson: Distinguishing the types of journalistic writing (news report, opinion article,
feature article, and sports news article)

Materials: Video lesson, pctures, mobile phone, ball pen, class record

III. Procedure

A. Preliminaries

* Prayer

* Greetings

* Checking of attendance

B. Review

Ask the class about the previous lesson

What they learn in the previous lesson

Ask the students if they really understand the past lesson

C. Activities

Individual activity

Each students will follow the instruction given in the activity

The teacher will check the work of the students

D. Abstraction

Proceed to the nect lesson which is composing journalistic text

Ask the students about their idea in journalistic text

The teacher will be record the answer of the students

The teacher will be send video lesson for the students

Let the student to watch the video and able them to understand the lesson.

E. Application

The teacher let the students to read the question/instruction on the screen and let
them answer/do each number.

VI. Assessment

The students will write a journalistic text about online learning of students,
generalize their opinion about the given questions, and research and compose a
journalistic text on COVID-19 Pandemic in the Philippines.
