RA 9262, or the Anti-Violence against women and their children act will be a big push to equal

rights. We all know that throughout the years, cases of violence against women and children
have increased. This Law will help those who do not have the power to voice out their
grievances due to fear of discrimination

I think that I can advocate for this law by using daily life functions such as Social Media to raise
awareness about the law. I can create infographics that contain useful information about RA
9262. In this infograph, I can put what RA 9262 is and how it can impact our society and
promote equal rights for everybody.

I believe that by promoting this law, we can convince those people who are afraid of voicing out
to finally exercise their right to report violence against them. For years, women have been
deprived of rights. Now is the time to do something that will empower women and also keep
children safe.

It is important for everyone to know that this law not only concern women but also children, as
it says so in the title. Children are vulnerable to violence. This law will serve as a protection for
themselves from harm’s way.

There was a time during the resumption of online classes where I think could be an appropriate
example of a situation that concerns RA 9262. During the time, there are numerous reports of
students being physically harrased, sometimes sexually assaulted, most of whom were women.
This will be the right time to raise awareness on RA 9262. We have to let everybody know that
whatever bad things that has been done to them will be properly dealt with accordance of the
law. We must spread that women and children have this law as a means of defending
themselves.
