1. Equipment Placement

1.1 Control Console Unit:

2. Cables and Connections

9. The pin out of RJ-45 connector shall be as per as
per IEEE802.3.
10. All Optical ports of PDC should be standard SC
type connector. So is the optical cable.
11. Data/Power entry/exit in a cabinet shall be
through water and dust proof connectors.
12. Cables shall be of proper length.
13. Verify the cable joints for good connectivity for
every 15 days.
14. All the cables should be connected to their
respective connectors.

5. CDC

Unauthorised access to any file, folder or
software is prohibited.
7. CD-ROMs, usb, speakers and other multimedia
equipment are railway property and shall be used
for passenger’s information.
8. The IP based IPIS shall be in start-up.
9. Only authenticated personnel should be allowed
to use the software.
10. Configuration setting is very important for proper
functioning of the entire system. So, take care in
handling it.
11. Follow software user manual if any doubts in
using the software.
12. Data entered regarding trains and coaches shall
be proper and verified by railway authority.
13. Any changes made in system shall be informed to
higher authority and with their permission.

Don’t install or download any software or modify or
delete any system files.
Don’t use them for playing music, web browsing or
any recreational activities.
The user shall not need to open software manually
after system restarts.
Without proper training don’t use the software.
Don’t change the configuration setting without prior
training.
Without knowing the operating of software don’t try
to transfer data to display boards or TV display.
Data shall not be entered from any third-party app,
or from old charts etc.
Without any authority or permission, no changes
shall be made.
