Microsoft WordArt
WordArt is an application within Microsoft Office that creates
decorative text that can be used to add interest to a document.

To create and use WordArt, follow these steps:

Under the Insert tab, click the WordArt toolbar button (slanted
blue letter “A”), to activate WordArt Gallery.

In the WordArt Gallery, select the style of text you want, click OK.

Enter text.

Click and drag the sizing

handles to re-size WordArt.

 Once your rendered WordArt is displayed, you can move

and re-size it within the Presentation slide.

 Editing WordArt
Modify text. Under the Home tab, there are various text
formatting options for modifying the WordArt text.

font properties by
rolling over the text.

Use the Rotation handle (Green Circle) to rotate WordArt.

Hold Shift-Key while

rotating to maintain
45-degree rotations.

You can also change shape properties by selecting options under
the Format tab*.

show a preview of that style.

Format tab.

You can transform the shape of your WordArt, from the Text
Effects menu (under the Format tab).

Click and drag the Purple

Diamond, to re-shape.

There are a number of options for changing color settings.
