INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRADE CONVERSION – NEW ECTS SYSTEM

The grade of exam taken during an international mobility period of study can be converted in the 30-point
scale, the following documents are required:

 Transcript of Records from the host institution with the description of the grading system with
percentage distribution.
 Ca’ Foscari table for grade conversion with cumulative percentages (it can be downloaded at
www.unive.it/ects-english)

The following example helps summarizing the main passages:

 Check the ministerial degree code (classe di laurea)

The student‘s degree course is Humanities.

The student spent a mobility period of 4 months at the University of Reading in the frame of LLP
Erasmus programme and obtained the following grades:

First class honours : 30 – 30L

2:1 = 27 -29

2:2 = 23 – 26
