Fork Lifter (without any additional cost).

6. Warranty: Warranty for trouble free service of two Comply

years (24 months) from the time of start
of working.

7. Drawing & Five copies of general layout, wiring Comply

Manuals: diagram, PCB diagram if PCB is used,
operation/maintenance manual, lubricant
chart, catalogue or any other special
instructions etc, should be supplied at the
time of delivery of Fork Lifter.

8. Pre-Shipment 1) The successful bidder shall arrange Comply

Inspection: pre-shipment inspection/testing by
one representative of Stores branch
and one representative of Mechanical
Branch. The testing/inspection cost
including air ticket, inland travelling,
boarding, lodging, out of pocket
expenses, and incidental charges
personal expenses, daily allowances
etc shall be borne by the bidder.
2) The successful bidder will arrange
necessary visa and travelling
documents without any additional
charges in this regard.
3) The firm/supplier shall inform the
purchaser atleast 30 days in advance
of the readiness of Fork Lifter for
inspection.
4) Above mentioned officer/official will
carry out the detail inspection as per
Pakistan Railways specification and
scope of work.
5) No such inspection, examination or
testing shall release the seller from
any of its obligations under the
contract.

9. Working Tests: The contractor shall arrange proper Comply

working of the Fork Lifter immediately,
after receipt at General Stores (Main
depot) Moghalpura. The contractor
would be required to inspect/check the
consignment jointly before start of
working, and components, to avoid
subsequent complaint regarding short
shipment or transit damages.

Training: The contractor shall arrange to provide Comply

10. free training by the technical experts to
the staff nominated by the consignee for
a period of 2 (two) weeks to 4 (four)
weeks at Pakistan Railways General Stores
(Main deport) Moghalpura in
maintenance, repairs, overhauling and
operations during commissioning of the
Fork Lifter. All expenses quoted
separately regarding this training will be
borne by the seller. This training will be in
operation/maintenance of the equipment
and will include programming for trouble
shooting and repair of the Fork Lifter and
its accessories. The training to be
imparted will cover all
mechanical/electrical/electronic
equipment.

11. Recommended Following make and country of origin of Komatsu - Japan

2. Toyota: Japan, USA.
3. TMC: Japan.
4. Mitsubishi: Japan.

8. Hyster: Germany

In case of equivalent Fork Lifter is offered, then the previous ----

satisfactory supply record of offered Fork Lifter supplied and
operated over Pakistan Railways under similar operating conditions
must be provided.
