IT POLICY

LAPTOP USAGE POLICY

PARTI. PURPOSE

his policy applies to all employees of Ciel HR Services Pvt. Ltd. ( hereafter referred as
Company) who have been deployed / deputed to Bundl Technologies Pvt Ltd ( hereafter
referred as 'Swiggy')

Laptop, Computers, Memory Card provide important functionality for specific purposes,
allowing
uSers to have a computing resource at hand in meetings/classes, enabling those who travel on
Business to be maximally functional and productive while away, and those who occasionally
work at home to eliminate
duplication of resources, files, etc. Along with the privilege of using
Client -owned laptops, comes additional responsibility to safeguard them from potential theft or
damage. If a laptop is stolen or lost there are additional security implications for any data that
might have been stored onthat laptop as well. This policy addresses actions that must be taken
in order to minimize the risk of the theft of Client-owned laptops and the associated costs to the
Company and Client.

All Client-owned laptops are governed by this policy including systems made available as
primary workstations, assigned by the IT department of Client or purchased for specific

PART II. SCOPE
This policy is applicable to all Company deputees who are using laptops issued to them by IT
Department of Client. Laptops are for official use only and may not be used for personal projects
or entertainment. Laptops may be used for the following work-related purposes, including but
not limited to:

Using the laptop as the primary workstation computer while in office


Using the laptop on a business trip, such as to a conference, workshop, etc.
Using the laptop to make a presentation in office or outside office
Using the laptop for any other work related task

PART II. LIABILITY


All users are personally responsible for the security and safety of their assigned laptop and will
be fully liable if stolen, lost, destroyed or not returned
All users will be required to reimburse the Company for the full
replacement cost of the laptop
if it is stolen, lost, destroyed or not returned. The replacement cost will be determined by the IT
Department of Client at the time of the loss. Payments will be made directly to Ciel HR
Services Pvt Ltd (Company) and may be by personal cheque or via salary deduction.

3. INVENTORY TRACKING

Do not give the laptop to anyone else for use. Doing so wll be considered misuse of the
equipment
Employees who are going on long leave or sabbatical must have prior approval from the IT
Department of Client, HR and their immediate supervisor before taking a laptop while on leave

4. LOSS REPORTING

Report a theft immediately to the appropriate local law enforcement authority, Company HR
and IT Department of Client as soon as the theft has been noticed. Provide IT Department of
Client and Ciel HR Services Pvt Ltd with a copy of the police report

I understand that all laptop computers, equipment, andlor accessories that Bundl Technologies
Pvt Ltd (Client) has provided to me are the property of Client. I have read and hereby agree to
all of the terms in the Laptop Usage Policy as stated above

PART IV. USER RESPONSIBILITIEs

1. PHYSICAL PROTECTION AND REASONABLE CARE

Ech user of a Client-owned laptop is responsible for the security of that laptop

reasonable care and effort to protect the laptop
