southeast entrance of the Bajo de Masinloc, following the
orders from Malacañang and the National Task Force for the West
Philippine Sea. Tensions are simmering after the Philippines blasted the
Chinese coast guard earlier in September for "illegal, aggressive and
destabilizing" conduct toward Manila's mission to resupply a military
vessel in the South China Sea. Beijing retaliated then by accusing the
Philippines of "illegal intrusion" into the waters.
