MESSAGE

Greetings to the Rotary Club of Manila South (RCMS), and my warmest congratulations to
you all as you celebrate your 37th Charter Anniversary and 36th Induction of Officers!

As a public servant and as a Red Cross volunteer myself, I hold my Rotarian brothers and
sisters in high esteem, as our partners in delivering truly responsive and inclusive
services to our people.

And so I thank and salute the RCMS for 37 years of being exemplars of volunteerism and
compassion, and upholding the Rotarian call to always put “Service Above Self”—not only
for the people of Manila South, but also for various communities in need across the
country.

I am certain that this year’s inducted officers will ably carry the Rotarian legacy forward,
and I wish you all the best as you lead the RCMS toward greater growth, and greater
ambitions of service for our people.

As your Trabahador ng Senado, you can trust that I remain your steadfast partner in our
shared mission of uplifting our brethren and “creating hope in the world.”
